Why Should I Donate?
Thousands of citizens across Ontario have demonstrated their commitment to helping our clients overcome huge obstacles as they rejoin communities and strive to become contributing members. It is only with the support of our donors that we can continue to fund our Institutional Services and Family Transportation Program. John Howard staff members are working in prisons and assessing the needs of our clients. They are helping prisoners create realistic plans upon release, and ensuring that they have access to support once they return to their community.
Each year, more than 50,000 people in Ontario are helped by the Society thanks to the dedication and contributions of more than 1,800 volunteers and thousands of supporters.
